Rally Report 2010

  • Doncaster, Geoff & Jill
Well didn’t they come up trumps, No mud, hardly any rain, sunshine and loads of aerials and a good turn out. Not forgetting the fish and chips. What more could we ask for!
Thanks to Geoff and Gill.
  • Cogenhoe, Royston & Judith
What a turn up for the weather who could have predicted such glorious sunshine. What a shame we could not bowl, it was to hot anyway.
  • Guildford, Derrick & Donna
We made a visit to Derrick and Donna’s country residence!! What a beautiful setting, plenty of room especially for lots of aerials.
Well done to you both for first time rally marshals.
  • Sweet Hedges, John & Margaret
A return visit to a popular site, a shame we could not be there, a good weekend was had finishing with a wonderful Sunday Lunch.
Thanks John & Margaret.
  • Stafford, Bill & Norma

Thanks Bill & Norma
  • Atherstone, Paul & Jo
Unfortunately we could not attend this rally but by all accounts it was a good weekend. So good it has been booked for 2012 already.
Thanks Paul & Jo
  • Blue Lias, Alan & Pat
This is becoming an old favorite, the pub looked glorious with all the flowers and the weather was a scorcher. Look forward to returning in 2012.
Thanks Alan & Pat
  • Cornwall, Jon & Rita
Not sure what happened here but the rally marshals turned up in the middle of the night!! What a difference to 2 years ago with the weather, we had sun, showers and wind. 3 awnings and a tent down in the first week. We still all had a good holiday. The communal tent was well used, radio in the day and meeting point for the young adults at night and into the early hours I believe.
Thanks Jon & Rita.
  • Glossop, Steve & Veronica
Yet another one that we missed but everyone enjoyed it, especially the Indian meal on the Saturday, I gather the field was abit uneven, most noticeable if you were in a tent!!
Thanks Steve and Veronica
  • Copt Oak AGM
Ok we arrived in typical RCC weather. It was very wet and windy. But things did improve. It was a good weekend, a wonderful BBQ on the Saturday evening with the children enjoying a go on the WII. We welcomed Maria as treasurer on Sunday at a quick AGM, just the way we like them!! The American Supper was superb and the beetle drive afterwards had us all shouting and laughing.
Thank you to everyone who helped over the weekend.
  • Meon View, Jean & Jeff
This is a lovely site in a lovely area. The DVD and CD swap went very well.
Well done and thanks to Jean & Jeff
  • Buxton, Maria & Steve
I suppose we could not expect great weather for October and the entrance was a bit muddy!! Several  members went on the walk through Lathkill Dale on Saturday and all enjoyed it. Alan and Pat ate all the food in the pub (nothing to do with the pensioners specials)! The views from the site were excellent. What about those honking, B?????? donkeys!!!!! A beautiful area to visit and a wonderful meal on the Saturday evening.
Thanks to Maria & Steve
